Yeah I know the story behind it, I never said it was an RM1999. That's why there is a slash between the words.

Hi everyone, I'm looking to mod my 4003s to make it a bit more like macca's / rose morris 1999.
I'm going to get a horseshoe and a toaster and the black vintage style knobs but i also want the 60's style pickguard that goes right up to the bridge pickup.
I know pickguardian make these pickguards to ...

If it was possible to find a UL430 (or more importantly have enough cash to buy one) id get one straight away
The thought of owning one will never be a realistic thought unfortunately

With my hofner i've always used my 1964 Vox T-60 & 1x12/1x15 cab.
But my 4003s arrives today so i'll be able to try that through it!

I read it was in Japanese but oh well! I'll hopefully manage to score this one (even though i don't get paid untill thursday) Might have to smoothtalk my way into borrowing some money

After buying a copy of the Vox JMI years book. I thought i'd get some more reading material but for my other favoruite brand and purchased these.

I'd recommend that you stick with the 'modern' buttons and put the mating Schaller locks.....I've pulled the vintage style ones off any of mine that came with them ...

I'll still never understand the model name though -- that can't possibly be official ? A completely different 330F model already existed 50+ years ago.

This might be a pointless post but i love looking through pictures of rics and i guess we all do here so i thought getting a trapeze would be the perfect excuse to start a topic :lol: I got this last year as i love the RM models but couldn't afford a proper one so i thought this would be the next ...
