Hi Scott,
Radio Shack sells what is called Soldering Braid, I find it works really great removing old solder and giving a good clean connection. Just lay the braid over the top of the connection you want to clean off and then put your soldering iron over the top of the braid. It only takes a second ...

I would like to make an apology to those I've offended in my previous post. I shouldn't have gone off on one of my old fart tangents. Mr. Hall, if I offended you in any way I do apologize and did not mean for things to get out of hand or cause animosity within this forum or with the other members ...

Need upper pickguard for 325V59

Does anyone know where I can get the small upper gold color pickguard for a 325V59? I tried Mike Parks and Rhodes with no luck.

Hi John,
I know how you must feel. I think I would ask Mike Parks not only to look at it but see if there's anything he would do to remedy your situation. You didn't mention if it was a new or used one. Some of the problems I had with my 325C58 had to do with the finish, and I was told you never ...

Hi Adam, I also think that alot of the Asian guitars are underrated. I knew that Yamaha had a good name for quality as they've been into several types of musical instruments over the years. I just couldn't believe in the quality and workmanship that went into mine. I easily would have paid twice ...

Found a really geat 12 string - Yamaha

I just picked up an new old stock Yamaha Pacifica 12 string model 303-12. This guitar is unbeliveable as far as a great sounding 12 string for all those Byrds songs, Searchers, and of course the Beatles. This one is no longer being made I come to find out, which is a shame. The quality is like that ...

Well in may case I bought a Ric because I've always wanted one since the 60's based on what its reputation has always been for quality, sound, etc., then only to find out it wasn't really what I expected. The question is then do you try another model, new issue or old issue to see if its just the ...

Hi Ken,
Yes it has 4, 6BQ5/EL84's, with a 12AX7 driver and 2, 12AX7's in the preamp section. It also has the reverb and tremolo for added effects. The speaker is one 15 inch heavy duty. The amp is not much bigger than the Vox AC30, actually its not as wide. The amp seems to do what I want and I don ...

Hi Ken,
I use the Peavey Delta blues, all tube, 30watt. It reminds me of the old Vox tube amps/AC30 etc., with alot of the same features and sound.

Hi Peter,
Thank you, Yes I can't believe the way it sounds with the Bigsby on it. Every note is clear as a bell. I was playing some Beatles riffs and I couldn't tell it from the original recordings, as far as the sound. The Bigsby makes all the difference in the world on it. Yes, I also think its ...

Hi Ken,
Thanks, I believe I have it where I can enjoy it now. It really plays great, the Bigsby give it an altogether different sound than before, I guess its due to the way the strings are firmly anchored to it and its resonance thru the body and pickups. Has like a chime ringing tone to it. The ...
