I, in fact purchased that Mouradian! I've been looking for one for many years, and decided if I wanted one, I better jump on this one and had to cough up the money. I’m friendly with Jim Mouradian (and son Jon) and they’re my go to guys for repairs, etc. I took it to their shop after receiving it ...

I'm with Wes- seems to me that in most recent videos, I swear that the headstock is angled back (like a modern bass), yet the other details on the his instrumen seem to indicate it to be the original RM RIC. Am I nuts? Gee, I wish RIC had some detail photos of this bass for our enquiring minds.

Seems that I heard that Squire mostly used his Green Mouradian bass on the "KEYS" Studio stuff. In fact, I believe that Jim Mouradian himself told me that, if I remember correctly...

That autograph looks horrible! I had CS sign my Certificates (in single strokes) and that's enough glory for me.

Try asking Kenny at RIC about the number- He was very helpful and right on about when I inquired about the TUXEDO a couple years back. (I've got number 1 of the last run of 15 according to my certificate).

Hey Kevin-it's me. Welcome to the forum and congrats on that new Rickenbacker! I hope I can see you play it out one of these days. This video is really good, especially if you have surround sound- crank it up on "And You and I"- it rumbles the whole house!

Try different strings too; as an example, I found that Elixirs tend to click more than others, depending on the bass itself. I finally had to remove them from my Yamaha BB1100s, but they were then fine on my Yamaha BX-1. I've more recently had D'Addario EXP's on my 4001CS and they were much less ...

Look closely at the Tobias on Turn of the Century- Is that the custom extended neck I've heard about? He supposedly had it built to reach lower registers while maintaining the 4 string layout. Looks like a loonngg neck with more than 24 frets. Great Video; I was there too.

As a CS owner, all I can say is that among my twelve basses including an '87 Tuxedo and even some fine MusicMan basses, the CS is the most beautiful and soulful bass in my collection, and it would be the one that I take to the desert island. It's a unique, one of a kind feel and look. For some, the ...

Correction-Emailed owner, It's not a bass, but a six stringer. OOPS. Says it's "factory Turquoise". There you have it.
