The bass is red. I'm green.

So are you acting as a revolving door or might it be a keeper?

Naw, I'm a revolver on this one. I really want a pre-73 4001 or cash is fine too....

It does have a nice sound though...signature Ric is the only way to describe it. My hope is that it goes to a home with a Tux and a Blackstar completing the trinity for someone.

Since you rarely see these, I wonder if RIC built all 125........

See, and I'm also wondering if the run of 125 included Tuxes and Blackstars, or if it included 8 stringers.

The number I keep hearing is 38. Maybe they just stopped the run as you think.

JH doesn't seem to post around here anymore, so we might never know the truth.

That's one HOT Rick bass to be sure!
Also, that's some very tasteful (honest!) carpeting you got there, Marc.
As for JH, you can reach him at RIC's site. I'm curious as to how many Rednecks were made myself.
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

I posted over there. He didn't answer.

As far as the carpet, it's listed on Ebay all the time. I bought two pieces from the guy off Ebay, he gave me a good deal.

Nice bass. Lotsa red.

I'd keep it Marc. It'l probably do a lot better than your 401K. Think about it. In 20 years where will you find a Redneck??

Try asking Kenny at RIC about the number- He was very helpful and right on about when I inquired about the TUXEDO a couple years back. (I've got number 1 of the last run of 15 according to my certificate).

"JH doesn't seem to post around here anymore..."

I think he got scared off from the Ric bashing thread a few months ago. He suddenly stopped posting around that time. Too bad. It was nice having him around. JH, please post here again.
