Help with binding problem

I opened the case of my 4003FL yesterday only to find that the binding has come away from the lower half of body starting from the strap pin by about 4cm. Is there any special type of glue that I need to use as some may attack the plastic binding. I'm a bit puzzled how this has happened as I thought ...

I've bought 3 Rickenbackers from Peter Cooks Guitar World in the last 3 years (a 4003, 4003 Fretless and a 360/12) as well as 3 other guitars and I find them very helpful and are probably one of the few authorised dealers that keeps a decent amont of Ricky stock.

I sold my Mesa Boogie DC3 earlier in the year and bought a Carr Mercury which I am over the moon with. the DC3 was 30 watts and far too powerful for modest home studio volume levels. The Mercury sounds incredible with my 360/12 and janglebox. - In fact there is a picture of my 360/12 and the Mercury ...

I have an Ashdown ABM C110-300 EVO II combo and love it.

Both the sound & build quality are excellent and it's very compact.

The best way I can describe the "Ashdown' sound is a mixure of retro and modern (especially the ABM range with the variable valve mix control)

I over the last 3-4 years, I seem to have ended up with rather a large collection of pedals - around 22 at last count. However my main pedals are: Roger Mayer Voodoo Vibe, Boss CE20 chorus and DD20 delay, Boss SD1 overdrive. When my Janglebox and Carr Mercury amp come next month, I may end up using ...

Was there ever a 4004Cii 8 string

I was looking at a Rickenbacker brochure the the other day and I noticed next to the 4004cii /5 cheyenne it says also available in 8 string.

The brochure was shipped with one of my 4003's i bought last July so I don't think it's an old brochure.

Is it a mis-print?

String gauge question

In the new Rickenbacker user manual it states that all 4 string basses ship with .40-.95 gauge strings while under String types on the Rickenbacker website is says all 4 string basses are shipped with .45-.105 gauge strings. My 4003 was made last June and I would like to establish what gauge strings ...

John , how long did you wait for your Janglebox? - I'm thinking of getting one myself.
