i have both a 4003 ric and a warwick corvette standard, both fretted. i wouldn't want to part with either. i absolutely enjoy playing them both. imo, the warwick is the most solid bolt on i've ever played. very nice snap & pop bass. and the ric, smooth as silk with a growl when i feel mean. i think ...

well the fender silverface bassman 50 sounded great saturday night. i used my 4003 ric and an 8 ohm 1-15 home made enclosure. i got lots of compliments.

from what i can tell, this is a 73 model. i tried it out yesterday afternoon for a short time and was impressed. great tone with the ric. i'm playing tonight and will put the stress test to it.

possibly trading for a late 70 model silver face fender bassman fifty amp. any user info? looking forward to hearing it with my 4003 and 4-10 (4 ohm)ampeg cabinet.

i play a 4003 jg in church and had the same problem. a volume pedal works fine. but the a-b box i got from carvin ($20.00) did the trick !

both look like sturdy stands. i think a good stand is added insurance. i have used my case before but it takes up a lot of space. thanks for the come back.
