A shout out to "Strings by mail". Great customer service. I found them by searching about flat wound ric bass strings here, or it could have been BassIQ.

Re: Incoming 4003s
It’s here!!!!
I want to try out the TI flat wound strings. Assuming the nut on my bass is stock what pack of TIs should I order?
I’ll flip the bridge bezel when I restring it.
Thanks John

Thanks for replies, advice, and compliments
I did not know about flipping the pick up around.
That's why I love this place!
I will report back after it arrives

360 DCM 75th anniversary
I played a 75th anniversary 360 guitar over the weekend the neck was really deep front to back. ... I liked it. Are most of the necks on anniversary editions similar 330/360 ?

Re: NAMM 2017
I still want the heartbreaker 350MC. The 350 with a wide neck, thick body, 24 frets from namm a year or two ago.
I also recall a photo from some years back of some 3/4 size bodies stacked up, I would love to see the finished guitars those became.

Re: Hum Single Single: Wireing
Thanks for the reply. I like the idea of splitting the humbucker. Not sure about the direct connect. Will it still sound like a Rick? I'm thinking at least one 3 position toggle.

Re: NAMM 2014
I was disappointed that the 350MC did not materialize as a purchasable product last year. Instead of the 350MC I'll continue to play my '86 350. Btw the fibertop hg pickups on this particular guitar are something special. Back to the 350MC, A RIC 350 guitar in my possession with a wider and deeper ...

Re: Mike Campbell's 350 - Neck Width?
The black jb looks thicker than the green one. Illusion? So I read In another thread that the wiring was pretty neat, and varied as they designed the brown model. Is there (a link or) resource where I can read about the different jb wiring schemes?
