Re: Amp for 12 string?

...What would be your opinion for the Vox AC 15C1 , especially the handwired ones - with a Greenback or even with the famous Celestion Alnico Blue?
They´re not cheap but seem to be good and -if I wanted- could feed my 2X12" greenbacks cab...

Well, I just got the Vox AC 15C1 Head in white ...

Re: Amp for 12 string?

I have the little Laney Lionheart L5 Studio amp for my 360/12 Rich and a thinline tele. I´m playing both through a 2X12" Greenbacks cabinet.
The loudness is sufficient for me as I only play at home. Volume is about setting 2 or 3 from available 10.
As I´m missing some sound shaping I had tested the ...

Connection question...

Would there occur any problems if I linked another box with "pin-Negative" power source
to the JangleBox ( red " J " ) wich has a "pin-Positive" power input.
I don´t mean the power connection, only the guitar tone signal passing through both linked boxes...
"OUT" from JangleBox to "IN" of other box ...

Re: Different JangleBoxes?

This morning my Janglebox arrived! :D

Now I have to look for a 9VDC adapter next week.
Meanwhile I´m using it with a 9V battery.

First try produced some humming because I hadn't´t found the right set-up
with the cables and plugs. But now everything is alright.

I am running it through my Laney ...

Re: Different JangleBoxes?

Today I got the answer from "JANGLEBOX" about the power supply of the black JB with a red " J " :

If the JangleBox is red lettered , it requires a pin-Positive power source . It is the only one of our pedals that has that feature.

The silver- (or white-) lettered JangleBox is pin-negative, as are ...

Re: Different JangleBoxes?

I purchased the box by auction on eb##.
Price was lower than new and it was described
as "used but in good condition".

Re: Different JangleBoxes?

Thanks for your kind warning!
I will think of it at the first try.
I didn´t know the polarity. :(
Might be indicated too somewhere on the box?

Different JangleBoxes?

As I´m looking for a "JangleBox" for my 360-12 I wonder how the different models differ.

On ebay I saw :
A silver one, a black one with a bright "J" in the middle as well as one with a red "J".
Furthermore I remember a golden/ yellow one and one "Byrds" 50 anniversary .

Then there is a bigger one ...

Tone + volume knobs making little changes...

I recently bought a 360/12 Mapleglo (2013).

I love it but there´s a little problem:

Those five knobs seem to do their job
without much enthusiasm.
There is only little effect if I turn them.

How far do you turn them to get a clear result ...
