Hi all, my ’65 4005 really needs a string change for years it’s been wearing a set of light GHS pressure wounds because the E String groove on the “R” tailpiece is very narrow & way back when they were about all I could find that fit, so I am ready to try some D’Addario Chrome Flats, I’m plannin...

I opened up my old 4005 to see what’s going in there, my neck pup’s tone control has a lose wire that slips out of the solder on one of the caps causing it to stop working also my bridge pup is VERY week I know some say it’s the cap but it’s so very week sounding I wonder if its not something else r...
