Here is a link to a couple of pics of the new 4003. The folks at Wade's did a great job of setting her up and were a pleasure to deal with. I'm hoping that all of you who are waiting will soon have the pleasure of cracking the case and inhaling the sweet smell of a new Rickenbacker very soon ...

Thanks for the welcome. Actually, I hung around here a few years ago, sold my MB 4003 (ugh!) and split till now. I got the AFG today and it is stunning, actually less yellow than I thought it would be and I like that--quite authentic looking. I'll try to get a pic to you all soon. And by the way, it ...

Uh, that one's taken I'm afraid. I saw it shipped last week, sent them some money and it's due tomorrow. Needless to say I'm psyched!

Thanks Dave, I'll start breathing again. I'm relatively new to the world of Rics and the company's history is not one of my fortes. Perhaps I'll consider a C64; and by the way, if anyone on the forum actually owns one I'd love to hear their impressions.

Dear John Hall...

Dear John Hall,

I would like a 4003S, dots and no binding, with a street price under $1,000.

Just in case you were wondering...

Respectfully,
Grink

Nice testimony. I'ts good to know there are people out there to whom "customer service" means more than a friendly greeting at the door.

"Despite the horror stories, I've had mostly good experiences at GC. All depends on the particular store management."

We play a mixed bag of good ol' R&R; some Petty, Stones, Beatles and a few one-hit wonders. The bass is actually Montezuma Brown and it cut like knife that evening. Did I have a good time? Jeez, it's tough to describe how pumped I was before, during and after the show. People I didn't even know ...

I'm 53 years old and have dreamed of playing in front of an audience since I saw the Beatles on Ed Sullivan. Well, here is proof positive that dreams can come true! This was just this past Saturday night, 10/9/04: Image.
