Good question. I recognize the seller's ebay handle. I think this is from the 70's JG4005 that sold on Ebay a few weeks back.

I've owned a bunch (Maestro BB, Zvex, Prescription Electronic) and have settled on running my bass in stereo using the Black Cat Bass Octave Fuzz and Marshall Guv'nor. I use both, but not at the same time. ;-)

Hi John,

How about an ebay auction with proceeds to your favorite charity? That would be cool...and I would buy one as well.

1. My current 4003--best Ric I've played
2. My old FG4005...a worn player.

We're dreaming right...could they be celebrity-owned?
3. Chris Squire's own Ric 4001
4. Stone Roses' guy's 4005
5. 360/6 John Kay

I agree. That's too bad. I was afraid that might happen. Nice looking Ric though.

I saw the listing last night and called them a few minutes ago just to ask about the condition. They said "it's still available on Ebay" but taken down off the rack. Ebay says the reserve's been met. (WTF?)

You all know how to make a guy feel welcome. Thanks for the support guys! ;) (Ouch, rub my face in it.) Marc/Dave, yes, I'm jealous.
Dave, the Exploiter and Ric are the two I regret selling the most--enjoy your luck. You're like me two years ago! Learn from me...don't sell them! I'm fortunate to ...

Feeling sentimental about my former '67 4005

Hi Guys,
All of this 4005 lust is getting to me. Now I can't even remember why I sold my '67 FG 4005 (as well as the Alembic and Lull) in the first place! It's all of you 4005 owners fault.
