Ticket to ride
Hi Guys- Anybody know why George never used the Ricky on this live? I notice on Sullivan and Shea stadium he doesn't. Was this so he could more easily play Paul's guitar breaks in the song? I thought this would be the best place to go for such info. Thanks! Christian

"Prudence" is way near the top my list too; incredible song. I'm thinking double tracked Casino on this, especially since John played the bluegrassy part. Some kind of early flange effect here as well, maybe Leslie? (maybe somebody can ask her!!-Sorry.) I'm open to comments here, I'd certainly like ...

I go to Olga; all of 'em. I ALWAYS wind up wadding up what I print out, and throwing it in the trash. In the time spent searching, printing, wadding, ink wasting, and trashing, I've learned the damn thing by ear. I looked up "Everybody's Talkin'", (It's faster than the "Turn" solo, and bordering on ...

Steve- "The Night Before" I think is Paul's finest Beatle vocal. Great choice! Benjamin- I thought I was alone on "Come together"; I know what John was trying to do, but the Fabs didn't have quite the right kind of chops I think to pull it off "Swampy & maybe a little CCR". A little more time on it ...

Yes Mike! "Long, Long, Long". GORGEOUS. Arguably the most beautiful Beatles song (I think "In My Life" is the actual best) Fascinating choices here; very intrigued to see "I should have known better" listed as a favourite. This to me, is a very predictible chord progression (Especially for a band ...
