at the dealer there is a 620 in jetglo i'm interested in i notice something strange ,there are two thin vertical lines demarcation in the finish at the headstock and in he the back of the guitar, I suppose is where the wings meet the center core , the dealer said it's normal, I'm not sure ,I can't c...

Need advice from the pros i have a one piece swamp ash for my bass project and i'd like to know what is the best finish to apply to the body to get the best tone ? i want to see the grain of the wood (translucide) i have search and didn't find too much.
