481 pricing

Good day
i'm interested in a blue 481 79 guitar in good condition 8/10 with its original casa and i have no idea how much i should pay for it ,the asking price is 800.00 u.s what is market value for this model

Sounds like a deal to me. If I had the money, I would snag that in an instant. Mmmmm...... 481. "Olivia's Vintage" had a '76 481 posted on ebay not too long ago with an asking price of $2,295, but it didn't get a bid. I don't remember what the last one that sold went for.

That's a great deal. These go for $1500-$1700 or so.

Yep, what John and others say....this is one of my fantasy guitars, but I never seem to have the $1500+ when they pop up for sale....I'd go for that price in a heartbeat.

Seems like a great price to me. There's an FG 481 on Aussie ebay at the moment (or there was yesterday) for AUD $2300+, which at current rates is around USD $2200!! :(

Yeah, great price. With Ricks it seems people ask more the weirder a guitar is, and slanted frets is at the top of the weird list.

Pardon me, but that price is an outrageous insult. It's about 200% of what it ought to be, even in this inflated market.
