Re: Bassic Colors No. 2 – When you're a Jet(glo) . . . !
Sorry for coming in late... but JetGlo is certainly my fav RIC shade!
Hate to say it but the 4003 doesn't get nearly enough love anymore with the C64 in the house... I love the classic Deluxe look but the C64 (with the bridge pickup cap bypassed... in a COMPLETELY reversible manner...) just sounds ...

Definitely some decent lyrics from Squeeze!

Jeff.....Props to you on your new acquisition. A bassist AND guitarist, eh? Very cool, brah. ...you're giving me WAY too much credit, the 12er makes me feel like a total hack... Play on, pick often, jam with Toast(ers)®,, and prosper. Best regards.....Goofyfoot. [/color] Pick almost and always, now ...

Re: Bassist for 12 years buys his first guitar...
Cool, Jeff! - hopefully the next 4 hours or so will pass by quickly for you! :) 2.5 to go... sounds like a meeting might run past 5 though... and I wanted to pick up a capo on the way home and they close at 6... BTW, coincidently, I received a recently purchased 620 WHT BT at work today! Nice! I ...

Re: Bassist for 12 years buys his first guitar...
You can't let it sit in the car, you have to play it all day and let your work sit in the car. First 30 minutes down, have managed to plough through inbox already, hope it's a busy day because this is going to be torture... An L-10 is the closest to what I have; if I hadn't found this I would ...

:D Someone finally got it! :D It's good to be the king!
I understand that only the lower price models are made in Canada, the more expensive Larrivée models are made in Oxnard. I have played quite a few at my local dealer ranging from -03 models up through my -19, they are all superb players and ...

Re: Bassist for 12 years buys his first guitar...
Beautiful....spectacular inlay work on that one... incidentally I drive by their Vancouver shop every day on my way to work... every Larrivée I have picked up has practically played itself, and the sound is to die for, I find them so expressive and articulate...

Bassist for 12 years buys his first guitar...
...and it's a 660/12!
I have noodled on guitars whenever I've had the chance and can string basic stuff together, and, well, I just love the sound of these things! Totally ridiculous, impractical guitar to have as my ONLY guitar (will probably go for a nice acoustic next, thinking Larrivée...), but ...
