I don't know if it was intended that way but this was a laugh out loud moment when I read it.

In the book, "Can't Buy Me Love", the author talks about how cheerfully the Beatles sang "Misery".

I think I'd go this way. Hollow, short scale, checkerboard, maybe twin toasters, crushed pearl if fretted, no dots or anything on the fingerboard if fretless, stereo-wired.

If it has even half of the stuff you've mentioned then I'm buying it. That's the era of the Heartbreakers where I first became a big fan of theirs and it's still one of my favorites by them.

It is nice to be reminded that across the years as well as across the oceans, we humans are not so different after all. Change the clothing around and those faces could have been photographed anywhere. Kind of reassuring.

I can't comment on the song itself but the recording is unlistenable for me. I don't know why but it's like the mixing was designed to keep you from hearing the lyrics and it seems to be noticeably different in sound level from the other ...

I think you could make an argument either for or against Paul having the most talent but I thinnk it is much clearer that he was the most consistent in terms of quality of output. His "terrible" work is still head and shoulders above the "terrible" work of the other three.

The first one that came to mind was Silk Degrees by Boz Scaggs. It feels timeless as opposed to a lot of the music from the 70s that feels "dated" and did within a year or two of being released. Harley, there is one on ebay now for $864. Its modified, bridge, tuners, and pickguard.Its also in England, don't know how well that would work if there was a problem.
