Re: Peter Lewis' Stereo 4003S

Yes ANDY, But you'd have to love the Louisville Slugger effect this 4003 has. But I tell you what, it sounds thrilling to the bone. Now if I can only find some old man here in Florida who hasn't played his bass since 1967 and it's a 4005 and he wants to "unload it" for $500.00! ANYONE>>ANYONE ...

Re: 4003S with Ric-O-Sound

I tried to post some pics but I was told too big so "jps' offered to make them jpeg compatible so the forum can give it a gander. He'll be posting front/back ...

Re: 4003S with Ric-O-Sound

Actually the SR my son wanted to keep, it's real tough having 2 bass players in the family. So I'm selling the 20th Anniversary Quilted top. It's still on there. Take a look. My son loves Flea and he lusted after a Sting-Ray and I just saw that one(20th) in Tampa and knew he'd like it, but I found ...

Re: 4003S with Ric-O-Sound

F Freida? yep it is. And since you've seen the bass, we all know there's at least one out there! At Least one. I suspect there might be more. I doubt Ric would take a special order for a "S" with ROS. Whatta ya think?

Re: 4003S with Ric-O-Sound

well here lies cunundrum. I have one and I tried to post a picture but was told it's too big to be posted. I took it apart to check for mods and there are none there. The routing is correct and you can plainly see the finish has not been altered by illeagal routing. Was it a "mistake" and fitted ...

4003S with Ric-O-Sound

Hello all, I'm new and glad to be here and my question is...
"Has anyone ever seen or has an "S" model, 4001/4003, doesn't make any difference, that has factory installed "Ric-O-Sound"?
I have seen many "S" models, but never have I seen one with OEM "R-O-S". Anyone...Anyone...
Thanking all!
