I have a mapleglo 4001 S Rick that, at some time in the past, someone replaced the jackplate thus removing the serial number. The only date i could find was a number "2/77" marked in pencil in the bridge pickup cavity.
Did Rick ever do this at the factory?
Thanks again,
Dan

4005WB
I have a 1967 4005WB Bass in Fireglo.
You see very few of them on the web.
I have owned it for over thirty years, and play it very little.
Is it a rare bass?
Thanks,
Dan
