Re: newbie hi-gain questions

I'm probably not the one to answer, but I've played both, and I prefer the older, non-adjustable HGs. They're not much different, but I feel the older ones have a more crisp pronounced sound. I always want to describe it as "glass", I don't know why. Maybe the older ones have a little more mid and ...

Re: Trapeze installment

I recently did this mod. Mine is held by the strap button alone. It's on there very solidly, the only thing is, when I put my first set of strings on, they pulled a little crooked, I just twisted back in place by hand. Now it stays in place as long as I don't take off and put on all the new strings ...

Re: Strap Locks

I've got a set of new Nickel strap locks I can ship to you for $15 total. I bought them for my 620, but have been waiting for a strap I ordered to use them with. I still don't have the strap, but now I will be selling the 620. Let me know if you want them, I have a verified Paypal account.

Re: 620 or Micro-Frets?

Yes, it has a very bright sound. What I like, is that I can put the tone knob up at about half way to get the sound I really like. Every guitar I've ever played, I turn the treble all the way up, and I always thought it would be cool if the tone was more extreme than you would want, so you could ...

Re: 620 or Micro-Frets?

I'll work on the mp3. It's the sound and not the look that got me. I definitely like the looks of my 620 better, that's why this is a difficult decision for me. The clean on the Micro blows me away, though it can't compete with my 360 on overdrive!

Here's a couple more of the 620. There's a chip of paint missing on the back corner of the body near the jacks:

Re: 620 or Micro-Frets?

I'll try to get some up tonight. The Micro is a crazy looking guitar. I just bought a set of 80s-90s high gains that I might put in the 620 if I sell it. I figure the HBs might bring down the value. Than I can just sell the HBs separately.

620 or Micro-Frets?

I just picked up a 1969 Micro-Frets Swinger recently. Anyone here ever here of them? I'm really liking it's sound. I can't decide if I want to keep the Micro or my 620 that I put HB1s and a trapeze tail piece on. I want to want the 620, but i think I like the Micro better, it's a whole different ...

Re: Used 330 Prices

Offer them $1300. If they accept it, great. If not, they might counter-offer $1350. If you offer $1350, they might counter $1400. I think offering lower than what you're willing to spend works best.
