34 years with my old 4001 !

As promised, here's OG 4048 from July 1975. Not a professional shot, but reflects current color after 39 years.

Thanks for feedback ! I will post pics as soon as it's back from repair shop. I can confirm it`s not Fireglo, it's fully red. I will check control cavity, which I haven`t looked at in a long time to see if color coding is there.

Reading this thread answered a question I had for a while. I have a `75 4001 BG and finish is much closer to fireman red than eggplant. Was a there a specific year when a color change was made ?
