So far, I'm loving it. Am I able to bypass the bridge pickup cap? It could definitely use a volume boost.
The body feels good when holding it. The back is totally flat, which I don't usually see on a hollowbody. And it was much more resonant acoustically than I was expecting.

Can someone provide me a link or instructions on how to perform the mod to remove the cap on the bridge pickup on my 74 4001?

I use flats exclusively. Never use rounds any more. TI's and extra light Chromes are my favorites.

Just looking back at this post, 3 years later. These are some great responses.
Perhaps others may want to chime in that didn't see the thread the first time around?
