Re: Any decent guitar shops in UK?

You could always try Nevada Music in Portsmouth. I bought my 330/6 JG from them (as well as a few other items). They know their stuff and the service is excellent.

Re: 330/6 string spacing... hard to get used to it?

I haven't played many guitars, just a Gibson, Fender/+copy, and my Ric 330 and found the Ric to be easier to play than any of them. I did think the strings were a little closer together than on others - especially the Gibson.

Re: Is rickenbacker.com down?

I tried registering on there at the weekend, all was fine until it sent the confirmation email, which didn't work due to a sendmail.asp error on their site. I contacted their webmaster but have yet to receive a response.

Re: New joiner/first Ric

Hey thanks doctorwho....Iof course I don't mind.

I do need to read the manual really...I had a scan through it but thought it but was in too much hurry to start struming out some chords. I'm now looking into new amp options also

Re: Warranty cards?

I'm not sure if they are or not tobe honest. I get most of my stuff from them as the service/choice is excellent. Perhaps I can make contact with someone via this forum to find out if I should have one, or request one to be posted to me?

Re: Warranty cards?

I just contacted them an it seems the warranties don't get shipped out with UK guitars, only the US ones (in the US).

Re: New joiner/first Ric

Cheers jingle_jangle. Funny enough I was looking at an AC15, as I wouldn't be able to get an expensive amp through 'mission control' if you know what I mean  I might look further into that option!
