Are the Neck and Bridge Pickups output the same?

Hi all; Metin is here again :) I need to know if bridge and neck pickup outputs are the same on new hi-gains. I also wonder if they are the same in older (pre hi gain) 4003's and 4001's. Can I use one pickup instead of the other? I want to change the bridge pickup of a 4001 with a hi-gain (2009) nec...

Fantastic bass but I think it would be an example of an over priced 4001v63. Especially in this slow economical situation.

Re: Model of the Week Six: Rare, unusual, desirable - the 4002

I had never heard a 4002 before I found this on youtube: It looks like a fretless 4002 doesn't it?

Here is an example of trust rod adjusters in the body side instead of headstock. My 1981 4003 JG.

Re: Model of the Week Ten: The 4001V63

Can you provide sound clips of you 4003 and V63 to give us examples of the difference in tone between the two? I assume you are referring to the tone/sound of your two basses, or is it the feel of the strings on the two basses in question? Hey Jeffrey, thanks for the encouragement :) You're so kind...

Re: Model of the Week Ten: The 4001V63

Sorry, I couldn't express myself in English correctly. and I am not sure if I can do now :) What I am trying to say is, it is not related with the string cague etc. And bass is also in very good set up now. But there is considerable amount of playability difference between v63 and 4003's. v63 stirng...

Re: Model of the Week Ten: The 4001V63

Is there anyone who suffers from v63's high tension strings? I realized it is not related with the string type or the set up of the bass. There is obviously big different between 4001 and couple of 4003's I have and my v63. Am I the only one who experience it or is this normal? I really wonder it.
