I had the same problem with mine and fiddling with it got it to working again too. The jack is really tight in the hole too.

I have a local luthier I can take it to who will fix it, now I know what the problem may be. Seriously, this Ric is a studio guitar and used maybe 10 times by me on tracks in the past 2 years, kept in the case the rest of the time. Thanks.

This Rick 360/6 in brand new, kept in the case, studio guitar, used maybe 10 times on tracks by myself. Are the switches that cheesy they break and short out with very little use?

RICK 360/6 STD JACK SHORTS OUT WHEN SWITCH DOWN??

I have tried to fix this several times. all wires seem to be in the right place, soldered, but still I get the jack cutting out on me most of the time when the toggle switch is in the down position. I have not recorded with my Ric much because of this. I fix it then the next time I get it out of the ...

I love my 360/6 in Midnight blue. Easiest to play of all the guitars I have. Great sound, toasters do toast.

Harold,
I have 3-VS8F-2 cards and 1-VS8F-3 with Auto-Tune and the 5 plugins that came with the F-3 card. I can't tell that the tiny knob does much but I keep it in the middle position. I love my VS2480CD. I've got it setup with Input Peak at 0db w/ Peak Hold on and record my tracks at -12 to -1db ...

I got my first Ric 360/6 in Midnight Blue early 2004. It's a great guitar. I plug it into my Hi-Z input on my VS2480CD and it sounds great! I'm keeping it forever. I get some buzzing from the saddle screws and springs from time to time and had to tighten the output jacks connectors once but other ...

If you scroll down and look at the Q & A, some people ask about the Ric and the seller answers There is no Ric... twice. So why try to sell nothing? I guess he's hoping somebody will win the bid, pay and not ask any questions. It's odd. Mayde he already sold it to somebody off eBay.

Welcome Bill
I bought a Behringer Vamp 2 w/ Effects and Amp/cabnet models for my Ric 360/6 in Midnight Blue. They run about $129 and have 32 models 16 Effects and you can mixed multiple arrays. Sounds great on leads and rhythms. Check it out, cost less than Line 6 & Pods so i got the Bass Vamp too ...

Hey Michael
I don't know what's up, sucky manual, people don't buy a VGA monitor, too lazy, but I've seen VS2480s selling for as little as $2,000 on eBay lately. I can't imagine ever going back to a 4 track tape unit or even switching to all computer. I was thinking about working on the wife for ...

Mike,
I got it in a package deal for $3250 right after 9/11, it's the model w/ 80gig HD. How do you like your Vocalist VR for harmony parts? Does it sound real? Who makes it and for how much? And the Korg, hows it sound? I started to get Korg but no VGA. Now Roland makes a $2000 VS2000CD w/ VGA ...

I got Behringer's Bass V-amp & Guitar V-amp 2, I started to get the Line 6 Pod Pro but I could get both V-amps for less than the Line 6. Are you recording your own original music by yourself or play with a band? I've been doing it all by my self. It's rather time consuming. Later, Frank.

I think having the CD external could have some advantages over internal. For one, replacing it and the same for the hard drive. Do you use an external video monitor(VGA)? I hear without one the little 4"x5" screen on the unit and all the menus can be a real hassle to get use to. I can't imagine ...

YO! BMI guy, couldn't you find a frowny face. Yep a VS2480CD w/ 17" LCD Roland DS 50a & M-Audio 2.1 monitors, 3 VS8F-2 cards, 1 VS8F-3 card for third party plugins like Antares Auto-tune VS. I'm a disabled vet, 53yr old, and refinanced my house after 9/11 to buy a small studio setup and some good ...
