Hey all,
Been watching the various posts in the various forums, trying to figure out the best way to re-create the Roger McGuinn sound (or something approaching it, as I remember it) and I see lots of posts saying, "Well, I use this," or "I use that" and my question is I've got a Johnson Millenium ...

Re: What Got Tom Petty Into Rickenbackers?
There was an earlier post about Petty and Campbell having too many guitars on stage and for some, it was distracting. Re: Gibson SJ-200
The Gibson SJ's are great guitars! I've played a couple, owned both a J-45 and a Hummingbird and the only negative was the fact that the action on the Hummingbird was too high and even after bringing it down, it was still too high. Small hands issue. Same kind of issue I had with a couple of Martin ...

"It's simply the best guitar I own, and I wouldn't have it any other way."
I agree with that statement! The only caveat I'd put on it would be "electric". I've owned Gibson's and Fender's and they're fine guitars but the sound of my 360, the feel in my hand, the look, all make for a really good rig ...

Re: Other Instrument That I Like
Mine would be the pair of Taylor's I've got; a 910 with an LR Baggs RT system in it (my work horse) and my custom Jumbo. For me, the Taylor's work really well.

Re: Wind 'em up
Hey all, I'm the newest kid on the block, so if I'm off base, feel free to blast me! I've recently picked up a 360 and the 1st thing I noticed was that it came with round wound strings. "Okay," I thought but that was more of a question than a statement. I did some research and confirmed what I ...
