NGD - 381v69 in MapleGlo made in 1988
NGD baby!
I've had my two little Ric 325's for years now. In the past months I've decided that I need to own a full scale Ric since I haven't ever owned a full scale 6 string Ric. I had a 610/12 years ago, but I never took a shine to it.

Re: Is the MapleGlo too...weak these days?
My 325c58 is a beautiful amber color, but then again it's Alder. I know that maple guitars will yellow with age, but even when they were new, they were a darker color. Here's a photo comparison of a newer 381, on the left, and the photo directly from Rickenbacker's website for the same model on the ...

Is the MapleGlo too...weak these days?
I've been in the market for a 381v69 in MapleGlo, and after looking at a few online Ric dealers, I've noticed that the finish, and maybe the maple wood itself, seems a bit too light these days. In the past, the maple was a more amber, darker golden maple as opposed to some of the pale maple Rics I ...

Re: Price on 325c64
I bought mine off of eBay for $1625 back in 2009. I was very, very lucky to get a c64 at that price.

325c64 (or not) sold on ebay for $1,700
I don't think that this is a 325c64, and the photos aren't great, but what a great price for a 325. It's probably a v63. what do y'all think?

The knob placement looks off as does the headstock shape for it to be a c64.

$1,650... Ha! I like that. A sense of humor is good fellas, but I think I'll keep it. Used it today at a non-Beatle or Rutle related gig. Still love it.

Re: $1625 for a 325c64...anyone here?
Jake, I'm still surprised and feeling very fortunate that I got my dream guitar for such a great price. I use it in performance whenever my Rutle band plays, and I've even lent it to my friend in The Eggmen to use in place of his 320. I even like to watch it being played by a buddy and think, "I get ...

Re: 325c64 for $3499- worth it?
Yeah, I'm the lucky guy that got the 2007 325C64 for $1625. So, $3400 sounds like waaaay too much. You can find them cheaper if you just wait and be patient. And yes, My friend Mike put some NOS 60's Pyramid flats on and they feel and sound great! Thanks, Mike!
