Re: Mapleglo Monday
Regrettably, I actually sold the 610-6 MG BT shown in my 'group' pic (above) about a year ago, as there was some damage to the lacquer on the lower fret-board - some guitarists must exude pure acid when playing!chronictown wrote:True, that aged mapleglo is a thing of beauty![]()
Been keeping my eyes peeled for a nice 610/6 MG BT like the one in your collection...I'll find one someday...
However, I do still have two more of these beauties - a 1989 model bought in the US and the other a 1987 example bought in the UK - both with OHSC and near mint: So, hang in there Chris, I'm sure one will turn up for you some time soon.

All things considered it might be more expedient for me to just pick up a bog-normal 610/6 MG and then swap out the white plastic for black...I prefer chrome hardware anyways and would probably add an Accent for extra flash. The tricky part will be finding a black TRC.

Thanks.
Those are my two faves out of the guitars I own. Regrettably, I actually sold the 330/6. I think I liked it better than the 360.

That's some serious flame at your feet, Jeff

Having lots of toasters help produce some serious heat, too (note that there are 6 of them in that photo).
