Hello,

Does any one know how to date a Rickenbacker guitar case? I have a 1969 340. The case sure looks original to the guitar. But how can I be sure? Please share thoughts and suggestions!

I have a 1977 Rick 320 in White and the serial number on the jack plate indictes a production year of 1977. But, the Rickenbacker book indicates that production ceased on the 320 in 1975. Can this guitar be a special order 320 that was made after general production ceased?

In regards to assiging a value to my 1969 340 Slant Fret Rick, is Rhodes Music in PA a good place to use for an appraisal?

I am trying to get a handle on production numbers for my 1969 Rick 340 with the slant fret option. I already know that the slant fret option was first listed in catalogs starting around 1971. Can anyone give me any insight into production numbers for this guitar
