Re: Rickenbacker Pricelist

I do not post alot, however, I am here on the forum almost daily.

This is very interesting and useful information. I have looked at it, read the stats on several occasions.

My question is: Although I see the 4001C64 in the pricelist summary, I do not see the 4001C64S listed in the summary. Am I ...

Re: Sometimes you just get the perfect match

Nice combination, and awesome bass.

Is that a Franklin Strap? I have one with similar tooling on it, but is only on the ends. I think I have small fortune on straps that are comfortable as well as compliment my basses .

Re: 4001C64 – Heavenly Seven

Nice collection. Thanks for sharing the photos.

I can understand having more than one of the same bass. I have 2 4001C64's. One I have has the original strings, and the other I strung with nylon wound strings for a differrent sound.

The 4001C64S, I wanted because I really liked the color and for ...

Re: 4001c64S cause I can't find any info

That's funny! My C64S is among the least bright of my 4001/4003/4001RI basses. I think it's because it has 330K ohm tone pots and almost all of my others have 500K.

Do you have other Ricks Bryan, or just the C64 and C64S?

Very interesting about the tone pots. Now I am a little confused. :?

I ...

Re: 4001c64S cause I can't find any info

out of curiosity did you notice any difference between both C64S basses and what is the contrast of playability between the C64 and the C64S sound wise?

Playability differences, I really enjoy playing both. I am not sure which one I like better.

However, sound wise, IMHO, I am unsure why, but my ...

Re: Best Amp for Ric bass?

I have an Ampeg V4B-AV that I play through with the 610 cab. The 4001C64 sounds phenomenal through it. With the pickups split even, and depending what I am in the mood for, I can adjust the frequency dial on the amp to a nice warm deep tone to the an extreme bright piano tone. Of course, adjusting ...
