Sometimes you just get the perfect match

This seems like one of them.

A little present to myself for the 4004LK.

I think Brian Crisman has one of those straps, bought for the very same reason as you did, regarding a match. 8)

There is a local strap craftsman that makes an acorn and oak leaf strap. I met him in a guitar building class I took about 3 1/2 years ago. http://www.medinamade.com/semicustom/ (Fifth one down).

Very nice Gareth.....I love the carving on your LK BTW!

I stumbled upon the strap before my LK even arrived. Ate least I had it to stare at for a bit.

My thread title was even similar (from May 2005).....

Very nice! Hard enough to find a plain wide back leather strap for a bass guitar.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

I thought finally someone besides Lemmy dared to put the original hand rest on an LK........ please read some smillies over here Not happening I guess. Unless I win the lotery.

[edit] nice strap by the way. Do they have one in black? It would suit my 4003 MID/BT fine.

I got it from Musicians's Friend. They seem to have a bewildering array of straps there. I'd check them out and see if there's something there for you.

That strap, if anything, is even cooler than one I got. It is also over three time the price :D

I'll keep that link for when I'm feeling a bit more flush, because I do actually like the thinner straps a little more.

Nice combination, and awesome bass.

Is that a Franklin Strap? I have one with similar tooling on it, but is only on the ends. I think I have small fortune on straps that are comfortable as well as compliment my basses .
I'd rather have information and not need it, then need information and not have it.

I dunno it it complements the bass, but it sure is comfortable. This is my favorite strap:
