Re: Mastery Bridge
Hey gang, Wow has it been nearly two years since I first posted this topic up. Just thought I'd say after living with it for all this time that I really like the mastery, it does add a fullness and I'd buy it again if for any reason it broke. Mine took little work to get it set up with a great ...

Re: Mastery Bridge
Yep, it was easy to remove the pickguard though. I like it so much I'm planning on ordering the telecaster Mastery bridge next week.

Re: Mastery Bridge
Just a quick update after having the bridge for a week or so now. I've been finding myself playing it acoustically a lot more.
I normally don't play americana/acoustic Neil young style, but the strings ring out so much more and tons of sustain that you just want to pick around a D chord for ages ...

Re: Mastery Bridge
Received my Mastery Bridge today and set it up.
I think it's a huge improvement on the original roller bridge.
To my ears there is Increased sustain and more jangle with harmonic depth. The intonation is spot on and didn't have to set the radius as it was already set to 10'' out of the box. The ...

Re: Mastery Bridge for Rickenbackers in the works
I've just pulled the trigger on one, I love playing my Ricky plugged in but the roller bridge buzzing does get on my nerves when playing unplugged.

Re: Mastery Bridge for Rickenbackers in the works
Has anyone tried out these mastery Bridge's yet? I was thinking of selling my 66' Rickenbacker 365 because I feel like a baby it too much and get too worried about playing it live...but thinking If I replace the old bridge with a Mastery and get new Accent vibrato I may feel more comfortable about ...

Mastery Bridge
Hey guys, long time since I've posted, but I've been thinking of replaceing some of the hardware on my vintage Rickenbacker for more modern just to keep it fresh and look after the vintage parts. One thing I've been looking at is this Mastery Bridge, I spoke to a chap there and he said it'll fit pre ...

Ha, where did you find that picture? Yeah that's me and the singer. I'm just going to order new tuners first off and save up for the rest. As I've just treated myself to a Martin DRS-1 for xmas.
Happy x-mas everyone.

Re: Upgrades, Devalue Or Improve?
Here's a quick pick I took ages ago, you can see that it looks straight but their has been some kind of 'fixing', there isn't any sign of a snap or bending of the neck. Not even a laqer crack. It's telling me the image is too wide to be shown here.

Re: Upgrades, Devalue Or Improve?
Yeah I've changed the strings, It seems hard to notice it as it's only going out of tune a very slightly. But just enough to sound abit off, I think I might just order the parts and see if that makes a difference, I'm sure at one point the Accent has been split as it looks like someone's welded it ...

Upgrades, Devalue Or Improve?
Hello one and all and happy xmas! I have a slight problem for you all.
As some of you know i've got a old 60's 365 and I've been having some trouble with it recently, It's been going out of tune like mad. Now all the tuners/tremolo etc are original and I'm thinking that this might be the problem ...

Re: Whats your thoughts on this 365?
Hey, yeah its FH. I was absoulutley inundated with offers, All offering around 2 grand. But it made me think, would I be able to get another 60's 365/360 for the same price any time soon. I saw one go on Vintageandrareguitars.com for 4800 (obviously that one was mint). Id really like to get a ...
