This looks to me like the headstock has just been chopped up.

If you compare the headstock to a normal one, the high part on the left is about where the low part would have normally been. It looks like they then lowered the tuners & reshaped the sides to confuse everybody (and plugged the old ...

The 900s used metal bats. Pretty much everything else used white ones that turned orange over time.

That's the back plate to cover the body routing.

It's on many, but not all of the 600s/800s.

The cavity will have the Ric model number- and they tend to be for the maximum model the body is cut for- so 310s say 325, 330s say 345, etc.

Wasn't the Rose Morris deal over with by 1969? Did Rose Morris even deal outside of the Commonwealth?

Italy must've had something else going on- as they have a lot of f-holed instruments from the late sixties that didn't appear elsewhere- 4005s, new-style 360s, etc. ...and those 12-to-six string ...

For a value, try hunting for "1964 Rose Morris 1997", rather than "1964 Rickenbacker 330".

It's reeeeally a 330-S, but is commonly known by the model number Rose Morris gave it- they put the various guitars they distributed under their own numbering scheme.

Standard Ric 330s from 1964 are hard ...

They are hard to find- I've never seen a complete one for sale in the decade I've been paying attention.

What features does the '59 have that indicate it's a prototype?
