Need a value on a 1964 330

Post by steelstrings »

I have an awesome 9.8 condition April 1964 330(DD serial #) one o'clock F hole, trapeze tailpiece and fireglow finish. I'd like to get a ballpark idea of it's real value. I deal in vintage guitars on a daily basis but admittedly am not an expert on Rickenbackers. I can't find any recent sales activity on this model anywhere to get a true example indication of its value. Any accurate help here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

That's not a 330... At least I don't think it is. Looks like a 1996 rose morris maybe???

For a value, try hunting for "1964 Rose Morris 1997", rather than "1964 Rickenbacker 330".

It's reeeeally a 330-S, but is commonly known by the model number Rose Morris gave it- they put the various guitars they distributed under their own numbering scheme.

Standard Ric 330s from 1964 are hard to come by, but the exports to Rose Morris show up for sale every once in a while.
