I have two guns, one 25w the other 100w.
A 25W gun or iron is way too small to use on guitar electronics. A 40W iron is a much better choice. The 100W gun is overkill and will melt the plastic insulation on wires fairly quick. It can be useful, though, for soldering to the pot bodies and pickup ...

Don't do it!
+1 100 watts seems like way more than you need for working on your bass when 25 watts should do it. Either get a dimmer box for it or take up stained glass.
With respect, I disagree. I have two guns, one 25w the other 100w. I find the larger one is better, even in ...

Re: Better than Whitney
No more damning statement about our 'post modern' culture could be offered up than Simon Cowell's on-air admission that Aretha Franklin could not win on "American Idol" because she doesn't 'look like a star'. Re: Marketplace Forum Restriction For New Members
Just a quick note to inform RRF visitors that new members will required 100 posts before gaining access to all RRF Forums under the Marketplace grouping.
I have noticed that a number of new members are (understandably,) still under the impression that the required post count is still 100 ...

Re: IS PAUL USING AUTO-TUNE!?!?!
In my opinion, it wouldn't bother me if Paul was using AutoTune at live gigs. He's earned it!
