Great, pictures! That last one is nice cause it shows the python strap, rick logo, and the entire body of the guitar up close.

Re: Looking for a C58.
Does it have to be new? One went on ebay a little while ago for only $1,900. You could also order it from musiciansfriend or music123 but you will pay in excess of $3K. It depends on how picky you are about where you get it. If you want a new one and don't want to pay top dollar and don't want to or...

Thanks! I did win it and I agree, I got a great deal.Ricara wrote:Well, that 'C64 went for $2125 on eBay. That's only $475 less than the one I bought... You win some, you lose some.... I hope that our Simmers was the lucky winner of that guitar. Looks like a nice one.
Cheers, Ricara

Re: 325C58's Going Cheap on eBay
Someone retracted their bid for $2,600 on the C64 currently on ebay saying the seller could not reached. That is unsettling.
I guess the more that guy thought about the V63, he just didn't want to let it go. Can't blame him.

Re: 325C58's Going Cheap on eBay
What did I tell you? As soon as I bought a 'C64 on eBay, here is one for hundreds less than what I paid... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220573695353 Have fun everyone, I don't need two... That will be mine in 4 days. ;-) Well maybe. I will be bidding to win on that one. BT...

Best picture of John Lennon with his "Miami" model?
I found great pictures of John Lennon with his original 325. However, I couldn't find any decent pictures of him with the miami model. Does anyone have a great picturee of him with that guitar? I'd prefer that the picture was of the entire guitar and it would be extra nice if you could read "Ri...

Brian let's put this all into perspective. No man, woman and/or no corporate entity is perfect. We try to focus on the positives of Rickenbacker instruments and the artists associated with them as much as possible on this forum. We do not stifle discussion unless it is in contravention to our estab...

Ok, thanks for the detailed explaination. That completely makes sense.
I know what you are saying about the "Flying Dutchmen" message boards. I've seen plenty of those.
