Re: Rickenbacker Knock Offs

Well this one's not a million miles off the mark is it?

Re: 330/6 string spacing... hard to get used to it?

If your struggling with the string spacing on your 12 string rick's take wooly's advice send your guitars to Mark arnquist. He recently did my V67 and now it practically plays it self!

Thank You Paul,

I was not being flippant when i said "it's that simple" what i probably should have said is that i did not realise it could be done with a liquid solution. It's also not something i would really consider doing myself as i'm not a guitar builder. I was more interested in knowing ...

De-Lacquering your fretboard

Evening People,

Has any formite taken Ed Romans up on his offer of de-lacquering the fretboard on their Rickenbacker yet?

I think Rick do lay it on a bit thick and generally prefer the feel of the natural wood on my fretboards. I am therefore thinking about having it done to one of mine.

I ...

Glad you all like the pictures, feel free to download them & keep them if you want to.

The guitar was purchased in Japan for a ridiculously cheap price of £500+tax.& the pictures were taken by a very good Japanese photographer friend of mine.

I can take a pretty good picture myself but i'm not ...

Mr Hall thank you for finally adding your comments to this debate.

I had hoped for something more constructive & positive coming from you particularly in regard to the actual topic of substandard "R" tailpieces.

Thank you Johnallg,

For bringing a degree of balance to the whole issue. I don't think anybody would join this fine fraternity with the sole intention of "Ricky bashing" that will certainly not do or achieve anything at all.
The only real critisism that i sometimes feel can be leveled at ...
