Marty, that is a beautiful 4001. I think that particular bass was worth it especially to hear you tell it. Listen to your heart.

Yes I think Ebay is a viable option, however, I have a world wide audience right here. I'm giving this forum the freedom of mulling over such a question for awhile. I'm leaving this weekend for a 3 week work stint and I'll be out of my "Let's make a deal" mode. Hopefully I'll have access to the WWW ...

I wonder if anyone would be interested in trading the currently offered 4001 and about 5G's for my '64 4001? What do you forum guys and gals think? Is 8 years worth $5,000.00?
