Heya Fellas, do any of you know of any luthiers online that do really good refinish work? See, my bass is natural and I want to change it, but the only luthier around where I live complains about full refinish jobs and tries to talk everyone out of it. Any help from the retore guys would help.

my 4003S is an 84 with stereo and originally had a two piece pg . . . until I modded it . . .

Meant to attach this to the last post. Its weird seeing pictures of my playing. My bass looks higher on me than it actually is. 2/4s of the upper cutaway is above my belt.

Here's a shot of me in my buddy's recording / practice space. Don't really know what I was playing though. I think it was one of the new songs we were working on that day. Whatever it was I was plaaying pretty fast. Haha!

Yeah I used to have an 81 4001 and I loved it, basically I'm trying to price out a replacement so I know how much I'll need to shell out for it.

Then This auction is obviously not as it seems, because he listed it as a 4001. I hate it when people do that.

He says its a 1999, but that would totally make it a 4003. I was bummed when I saw it cause I was looking to price out the going rate for a jetglo 4001. I'm hoping to pick one ...
