Wow I just went into the rick store and now the Horseshoe isn't even listed. Glad I got an order in. So excited! :D

Im gonna eagle eye that page for the next month in hopes more come in. Ive been wanting a Horseshoe since 2007. Question is when it comes in, should I get a toaster to make a 60's era Ric or get a mike lull TB pickup and make it like Lemmys original rick?

I definitely agree with the idea of it being modded with taste, just as much as I agree with the "do what you want". I always like Lemmy's mods to his 4001s by putting a vintage thunderbird pickup in the neck. When I met him a while back I asked if he still had it (before I saw the Rickenbacker tour ...

That bass is like my ideal Rickenbacker. Fireglo finish with gold pickguard and trc with a horseshoe and toaster for pickups topped off with checkerboard binding. Heck even if Rickenbacker made it with a gold, normal style pickguard I'd be fine.

I missed it by a day. I usually check once or twice a week for them but missed it. Anyone know if more will be available soon? I bought a Jetglo 4003 from a bandmate that I've been wanting to put a horseshoe in.
