Re: Horseshoes Available
I think I heard they were only made in batches of 10 a week at present.
Re: Horseshoes Available
Richard said they're being made in between batches of other pickups, and if you ordered today it shouldn't be too long...I wait excitedly!
Re: Horseshoes Available
I got an email on Monday (working the holiday??? bummer!!!) about billing, so I guess I can expect mine soon! Woot, as they say!
Re: Horseshoes Available
Me too, Dog!
Holiday? What's that?
Holiday? What's that?
Re: Horseshoes Available
Just got my billing email a few mintes ago. Should have it by early next week.
Re: Horseshoes Available
Wow I just went into the rick store and now the Horseshoe isn't even listed. Glad I got an order in. So excited!
Re: Horseshoes Available
Uh oh....That can't be good. If RIC's not making a bass that uses the part, they might not make anymore
Re: Horseshoes Available
Im hoping they did that temporarily. Im sure the got flooded with order requests all day today.
Re: Horseshoes Available
Yep, me too, needed a confirmation of a number on the card, I was happy to get mine soon and if it's a couple/three weeks that's finejdogric12 wrote:I got an email on Monday (working the holiday??? bummer!!!) about billing, so I guess I can expect mine soon! Woot, as they say!
Re: Horseshoes Available
I just took it out of the boutique this afternoon because it's currently out of stock. There's a software issue that caused these (and other items) to show as in stock, when they're not or out of stock when they're aren't.
This only happens on very active parts where there's demand both from the shop floor and the boutique at about the same time; some negative numbers enter the system and get misinterpreted.
They'll be back up when the problem is fixed and they're back in stock.

Re: Horseshoes Available
Whatever happens I'm happy and looking forward all the more to getting the pup fitted and giving it some air play, which bass gets the pleasure is another matter.
Re: Horseshoes Available
Thanks JH!
Re: Horseshoes Available
Yes, thanks John!
And, it sounds like there will be more of 'em. AND, it sounds like there are a bunch being used on the shop floor...
Hmmm, I wonder what that could mean???

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Re: Horseshoes Available
Dane, I tried this with my hi-gain on my 2010 4003 and noticed a significant drop in the volume...aceonbass wrote:An "unbuttoned" hi-gain is a hi-gain with the poles removed and replaced by Allen screws and topped off with a toaster cover. RIC pickup covers are stamped brass and are therefore non-magnetic.
is that just a factor of it or can something be done so it doesn't lose volume
