Oh, I did not ascribe any priority to this topic. I'm aware there are more important changes to make. I just wanted it recorded somewhere so maybe just this thread is it. Thanks.

Update Register Entry for Rick I Sold
Hello Peter, As I was recently perusing the Register I noticed that an entry I made in the early 2000s for a Rick I used to own is still there with the same location of Virginia, USA (where I lived then). On May 27, 2006 I traded in that Rick to a guitar store who later sold it. I thought for the sa...

Re: STOLEN Model 1993 reissue!!
I know (or knew) the guy who owns Classic Axe. I bought a Rick (660/12) and a couple amps (Laney in 1998 and Vox Cambridge in 2000) from him when he was in Manassas and Gainesville, VA. The guy's first name is Russ - I don't know his last name. He was always a stand up honest guy. I expect he has no...

Re: Get Back
I missed it at Thanksgiving as I didn't have Disney+. I recently saw an offer from my cell phone provider for 6 months free Disney+ so I signed up this week and just got through about the first third of episode 1 last night. Back to it tonight. The quality of the film is pretty darn nice and it is j...

Re: Fall 2021: Best place to order a new Rick. . .
I used Pick Of The Ricks, but as stated above, they are no longer in the guitar selling business. So... One time Pick Of The Ricks did not have in stock what I was looking for (a Miami 325), so I (don't throw tomatoes at me) went to one of the two big internet musical gear sellers (Sweetwater). The...

Re: Casinos during Revolver
Check out this link to Rob's To-A-Tee video instructions. He shows two Casinos for this track. This set of 4 volumes is a great Beatles guitar instruction set that attempts to use the guitars that were used on the tracks as much as people know or can figure out. http://www.to-a-tee.tv/products/beatl...

Re: Neil Young
One of the most memorable music evenings I ever spent was in a bar in Salinas, CA when I just happened to be in there and Neil just happened to come down from the Santa Cruz area to try out his new Bluenotes material in early 1988. I stood 10-15 feet away while Neil and that Bluenotes band wailed fo...

Re: Neil Young
There are so many but I really do like After The Gold Rush and Rust Never Sleeps - Live Rust. Catch the Rust Never Sleeps concert movie too. One of my favorite live cuts is Powderfinger - very powerful and very Neil.

Re: 360/12v64
I had the 360/12V64 from 1999 to about 2005. I bought from our own Bob Belloff. Eventually I traded it in on a brand new 660/12 just because I'm able to play the wider neck easier. It WAS a GREAT guitar though!

Re: "Yesterday and Today", the Butcher Cover and the Trunk cover
To answer the original question, I have an original peeled mono butcher cover. I bought it within a week or so of release in 1966 but did not realize it was a paste over until 1978 when I went ahead and peeled it. I should have left it as a paste over! It would be worth much more now. It's just nice...

Re: The Evolution of Rock Bass Playing; McCartney Style
I read Dennis's material on Paul's playing way back in the mid-90s. He and I corresponded quite a bit about the Anthology stuff when it was coming out. I also talked with him on the phone a few times. Dennis is a good guy and writes some very interesting stuff about Paul's playing. Jon

Well, of course, there's also Susie Q where Mr. Fogerty once again ignored the conventional wisdom with the 325!

Re: Your FIRST Album???
That's an easy one, well remembered to this day. It was March 1964 (don't remember which date!) and my parents and I went to a hi-fi stereo store on PCH in either Redondo Beach or Torrance, CA. They bought a Magnavox console stereo (our first music playing device of any kind). They got a free LP wit...
