Re: Opening the Doors

I was a big Doors fan back in the 1960s. They were very big in the USA and had a lot of popular songs on the radio. I saw them in concert and Morrison jumped off the stage and was imediately surrounded by a lot of police officers. We thought that was really cool back then. At that time I did not ...

Re: The club for people waiting for a 360/12c63

I walked into the Dallas guitar show in April of 2007 and found a 360/12c63 at the Fuller's Vintage Guitars booth. I had heard all the stories about long waits so I bought it immediately for $2400. I have three Ric 12 strings and it is definitely my favorite.

Chris,

How did you know that the Bm to A chord slash was overdubbed? Can you hear that by just listening closely or was that documented somewhere? I tried to listen closely but I could not really tell for sure. Are the chords also overdubbed in the intro before he starts the D string walk down? I ...

I bought a Tele in 2006 and I find myself playing it quite a bit these days. Much more than my Stratocaster. I agree that it is a very versatile guitar.

Dale,

I ran into the problem of not have a "thin walled" socket wrench when I adjusted my trust rods. I got it to work but I definitely felt like the walls of the socket were too thick. Where can you get a "thin walled" socket wrench?

Peter,

A friend of mine has some home grown software that scrolls the words and chords on the television monitor as the song is played. Several of his guitar player friends get together from time to time and we all play the songs together. If you don't know or remember the song the monitor is ...
