George Harrison's slide guitar

Does anyone know what tuning George played slide? Was it standard tuning? Are there any good books with George's slide music?

Lennon Legend Book

Just got the Lennon Legend book.. The "artifacts" brought back a lot of good memories. I remember the Beatles bubble gum cards and "kick myself" everyday for having enough foresight to keep them safe.. sometime through the years they got lost. Anyway, I think the book is a great collectors item..

I too got the DVD for Christmas..
I think one of the Highlights is Paul and the band performing 'Something'.. Its one of those "magical" moments that I just can't get enough of..

...'And Your Bird Can Sing'..man, every time I hear that song I can't help but get "fired up."

Also, 'Yes it is'.. I think it's such a great song and hardly ever gets a mention..

But honestly, to pick one song is so hard..

It's a sad day indeed.. The end of a legend.
I, as all of us, will miss him yet we will be comforted by his music which will live forever..

String buzz

I've got a RIC 330.. I bought it in March and have been playing it pretty regular with great sound and no problems. I had to go out of town for business and when I returned last week, started playing the RIC again and found I have a string buzz.. mostly on the 1st string / 1st fret area but I've ...

Thanks guys for the help.. My RIC arrived today! Since I was young I always wanted one and now I own a beautiful '96 330/6 FireGlo.. Peter, I took your advice and had it re-strung with RIC .010/.046s.. seems to play great for me, I'll stick with them. I'm so glad to finally be a member of the RIC ...

Stringing my new RIC

Hey gang, I just bought a '92 RIC 330.. My question.. the shop owner said before he sends it out, he'll re-string it with any strings (type and gauge) that I want.. Does anyone have a recommendation for strings that they're really happy with? Thanks.
