Not yet. I have a friend who seems to think that it is a nut problem, since it is isolated to the 1st string only.

Low volume on high E string

For some reason, the high E string on my 660-6 has a slightly lower volume than the others. Anyone have any thoughts?

Don't get me wrong. I love my 660, but the fretboard definately took some getting used to. I think that if one is used to playing Gibsons, the 650 may be easier to adjust to.

Another thing to consider are the laquered fretboard and tiny frets on the 620. If you are wanting to play the blues, this may cause you some difficulty in bending strings. Then again, I have seen many here say that this doesn't pose a problem for them.

Not a big fan of the gold pickguard and truss rod cover. I think that white looks more classy.

Jeff Buckley- Grace
Interpol- Antics
Brad Paisley- Mud on the Tires
Muse- Absolution

I know Brad Paisley doesn't fit in here, but he plays a killer guitar.

Do any of you guys read that magazine? It is totally focused on nu-metal music. The only reason I bought it was because it had a tab for "Shine on you Crazy Diamond."

I have always wanted a Strat with Texas Special pickups, but for some odd reason I have never wanted one bad enough to spend the money. When it came down to crunch time the Ric won over the Strat.
