Thanks Paul......good point, but the 3001 also has DiMarzios in it so its not too original or upsetting. I'll put the repros I bought for the 4001 on it.

here are photos of my 75 4001 w/the replacement tuners

I just realized that I may actually own the correct tuners for my 4001. I have a 3001 from the same era and have attached photos from the 3001.

Can anyone tell if these the correct ones I need on the '75 4001?

Am I correct that this may be difficult? I found some repros that have 'Rickenbacker' stamped on them....but I think that started a few years after '75...
