Personally, I wouldn't do it. Sounds too risky.

I wasn' t on the original list but I still have mine. plus a 330 and 360.

I have red ones on my Ruby bass and of course black beauties on my Shadow. Tried the guitar strings as well but the coating comes off pretty quick. They're not the best sounding strings but I'm used to new Rotos.

Jeff T, Ya know I had to ask Paul what he's doing simply because we've traded many e-mails back and forth that I don't know. And of course I keep adding things! I know it's at least gonna be Ruby with check binding, Duh!

It's an '87 so 4003. But it won't look like an '87 when it's done.

My Shadow plays awesome, thin fast straight neck. Very low action. It sounds the same as my 4003s but then again I only have RIC basses from '86 and '87 with the exception of my '73. Of course it sounds different than the '73, pickup is hotter. The neck on my '73 is different than my Shadow.

All it takes is cash!

I have a b200-r and had a B100. The B200 sounds better, has more power. Mine has held up to gigging every weekend. Still sounds great. Have recently upgraded to a Mesa Boogie Walkabout because I got a good deal.

S basses. From the left Ruby '87 4003s, '87 Blackstar, '81 4001s. Just got the 4001s recently. Added a black pickguard from Pickguardian and Schaller M4's so I could have a Hipshot D-Tuner.

I don't believe the RIC cares if you sell your legit TRC. I buy legit ones all of the time and sell from time to time.

Shadows don't have certificates. I think 2500 is in line with other RIC basses maybe under valued but I don't think the Shadow will ever have the same status of other collectables like the Annie, Blackstar, Squire even though there are suppose to be less made.
