Also, in the side column where they list his gear, they use a picture of a completely different Rick bass! This isn't the first time this magazine has been guilty of such sloppy picture choices though, sadly.

I thought the interview was a bit of a missed opportunity to be honest, it only seemed to rehash what most of us know already. They should have done a full interview, at least double the length, and he definitely deserved to be on the cover! Although the Gibson bass and Hiwatt stack are pretty tasty ...

Henny, his is one of my favourite Ric tones; a bit like my '72, it's actually somewhat warmer-sounding than many (although in his case that could be the Marshalls).

I too love how "un-showbiz" the '72 footage is. It's almost more ...

I'm a 20-year old bass guitarist whose dream tone is the sound Chris Squire gets on "Yours Is No Disgrace" from The Yes Album. I also LOVE Geddy Lee's tone on the Hemispheres album, Paul D'Amour's (Tool) tone on the Undertow album, Jon Camp's (Renaissance) tone on the Scheherazade and Other Stories ...
