What...is that!?

When I bought the 4003 it had a black pickguard, Perspex treble pickup surround and no pickup cover fitted. It came with the original parts except the surround, so I bought one and reverted it to standard.

I joined the forum recently, I'm a new bass player, left handed. I didn't know much about bass guitars but just after I started, I came across a video of a guy playing a Band of Horses track on a Fireglo 4003 on Youtube and thought it was the most beautiful sounding, beautiful looking man made ...

I found this thread while searching for 'swirl-x' as I'd like to use it on my Jetglo 4003. Just wanted to say, what a beautiful guitar and amazing piece of work!
