Rickenbacker advised today that they don't sell them at all, but also didn't suggest the swap option.

I finally found a 2012 JetGlo 330 out here in Australia... and I am loving it.
I've noticed Paul Weller and others playing a JetGlo 330 with black pickguards and logo on the headstock.
They aren't available as spare parts on the Rickenbacker site, and info on where to track them down?

I have big hands and long fingers so I struggle with smaller necks. I just played a 330-12, loved the sound but couldn't get clarity with my fingers buzzing across strings.

I'm looking for a Fireglo 330.
Living in Australia, there's not a lot of choice and they are twice the price!
Should I be buying NEW or an early '90's or even an early '00's instead?
Any thoughts appreciated.
