Both the Texan and the Martin are righty.
I saw both personally. McCartney even showed me the difference between a replica Texan (with exact "relic" like the original) and his old one, by putting them next to each other. The relic job is very realistic and looks identical to the original, but the pickguard is the giveaway. On the reissue it's a slightly darker brown and doesn't look as "faded" and yellowed as the real old one.
